The diversity of our machining capabilities combined with our assembly, engineering, fabrication, inspection, documentation, and packaging make Hamill a great choice for handling projects of any scope.
Hamill is proud of our crew of highly skilled welders who, in some cases, are among only a handful of people in the world with certain unique qualifications, that performing exacting welding procedures on parts ranging in size from a few ounces to 35,000 pounds.

We have extensive experience with nickel alloys, stainless, titanium, aluminum, HY-80, HY-100, Carbon Steel in thicknesses of 0.03” to 12”.

Our processes include GMAW, GTAW, Submerged Arc, Shielded Metal Arc, Flux-Cored Welding, Oxy-Fuel, Resistance Spot Welding, Stud-Welding.

Our welding qualifications include:
  • 250-1500-1
  • S9074-AR-G1B-010/278
  • ASME Section IX
  • AWS D1.1
Our heat treatment furnaces:
  • Max Temp. 1,875°F, Working Zone: 54" x 34" x 26"
  • Max Temp. 2,250°F, Working Zone: 24" x 24" x 24"
  • Induction Heat Treating
In addition to supporting manufacturing operations at Hamill, our engineering team offers manufacturability review, design engineering, value engineering, and applications engineering services.

Other requirements that we can support include: mechanical design, CAD/CAM, machine design, reverse engineering, metallurgical analysis, structural analysis, tool & die design, and finite element analysis.

We also welcome design engineers for Design for Manufacturability sessions that provide training on the impact of design decisions on manufacturing facilities and how they impact costs and technical feasibility. By working closely with engineers, we can reduce costs and lead-time together.

Hamill offers both Ram EDM and Wire EDM services to compliment our machining capabilities with their ability to create configurations that aren't possible with standard machining techniques.

Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM)
Sinker EDM parts envelopes: 39.37" x 27.55" x 14.5" and 66.9" x 39.37" x 23.6"
Wire EDM parts envelope: 51.2" x 39.4" x 20.1"
Our temperature controlled facility has over 110,000 square feet, with 55,000 square feet dedicated to manufacturing. This includes a 22,000 square foot bay area with more than 40 feet beneath the crane to support the manufacturing of large assemblies.
